This is a scholarship for working people.

• Have demonstrated financial need

• Be working at least part-time

• Have been enrolled in a degree program for at least 2 semesters (including the semester of application) within the past 3 years

• Have and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA

• Be a resident of Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham or Alamance counties

​

Preference will be given to students who have overcome barriers to pursuing post-secondary education, including but not limited to medical barriers.

​

There are no restrictions on the location of the college or university; students attending for-profit institutions are not eligible.
